The Bike Barn

Situated in a little village just outside of Pola de Siero, the Bike Barn offers the perfect accommodation for cyclists, with plenty of routes right on your doorstep. The top of the L’Angliru is just 50km’s ride away and Los Lagos de Covadonga  just a little further.

Being located in the centre of Asturias, all the best cycling locations are easily accessible. From the Barn you can be at the coast in less than an hour by bike, plus you have all the best routes in the Cider and Mining regions on your doorstep. Should you wish to cycle further afield, the central location of the barn means that nowhere is more than just a short drive away.

Located Just 15 minutes  by car (less than 1 hour by bike) from Oviedo and Gijon, it also offers you the chance to explore and enjoy the lovely cities of Asturias.

The Barn offers fully equipped  self-catering accommodation in a lovely beamed, converted barn, with great views of the mountains. It sleeps a maximum of 5 people (2 x twin beds plus single and double sofa beds in lounge) and includes decking, garden space and a utility area to store and fix/clean the bikes.

As the name suggests, the Bike Barn is geared specifically toward the cyclist and the owner is more than happy to help you with route planning and provide local information. You will also be provided with an emergency number should you have any problems on a ride.

If you are not planning on driving, pick up from the Airport can be arranged.
